I love Apple Arcade. So many great games, only $5 per month. But touchscreen game controls? Not so much. For action games, platformers, racers – nothing beats a real gamepad.
Note: since early 2020, Apple has required every Apple Arcade title to support wireless controllers as a condition of joining the service — so at this point this list is effectively just “the Apple Arcade catalog.” It’s no longer actively curated for that reason; what’s below has been pruned back to titles confirmed still live on the App Store, but isn’t being expanded further. For non-Arcade iOS games with controller support, see my iOS Games with Controller Support list instead, which is still maintained.
Here’s a list of Apple Arcade games with wireless controller support. The list is hosted on GitHub. If you’d like to make an update, please open a pull request.
