PowerStrip is a Windows utility for monitoring and tweaking display hardware — refresh rates, clocks, and identifying exactly what GPU is installed. It earned its keep identifying the 3dfx Voodoo Velocity 100 for what it actually was: PowerStrip read it plainly as a Voodoo 3, just with half the RAM, confirming the card’s real identity before any of the TMU-unlock work started.
